FACADE SYSTEMS & TRANSPARAN FACADES

Tension System

In instances where conventional load-bearing elements cannot accommodate the construction of a highly transparent facade system with significant dimensions, innovative solutions are imperative. Pre-stressed steel cables come to the fore, effectively transferring loads from facade panels, comprising both their intrinsic weight and those originating from wind pressure and vacuum effects, to the primary load-bearing systems of the building.

Spider System

Spider facade systems diverge from conventional stick facade systems by employing point-supported glass panels, in lieu of the horizontal and vertical load-bearing systems equipped with glass channels. The objective is to craft exceedingly transparent facade systems. Within spider facade systems, the selection of the load-bearing system material—whether aluminum, steel, or glass—rests on the specific design prerequisites.

Fin System

Fin facade systems are meticulously engineered to meet the demand for single-panel glass solutions in defined openings. When a singular glass panel is insufficient to withstand the wind loads in extensive openings, tempered and laminated glass columns are strategically deployed. These columns, often mounted from both the ground and the ceiling, and sometimes from both sides, provide essential structural support to the glass facade panel.
